About
My name is Irma (Jacqueline) van de Visch. I was born in the Netherlands where I have been trained as a Chiropodist. After I completed my studies I specialized in treating diabetic feet. In addition I trained in business and sales and was awarded a diploma for treating rheumatic feet as well. My education in Holland was based on medical studies.
For me, working with feet, solving complex foot problems, and maintaining one-on-one contact with clients (40 % of HAPPY FEET CLINIC clients are men) is a dream come true. I still experience and feel how my work with Advanced European Technology has turned into my hobby. I was and am still enthusiastic about my work because I like to help people, using my qualifications. I have a passion for people and helping them. Over the past eleven years I have seen many people who came into my clinic suffering from pain (due to deep corns or painful ingrown-toe-nails for example). Helping them to get rid of difficult foot problems, makes me very happy.
I can offer special care to clients who suffer from diabetes, and provide them with good and sound advice. After treatment many of these clients make an appointment for their next treatment.
This is the way I work: for me: each and every client is ONE person whose foot problems must be solved. Many Israelis are looking for a good Chiropodist, but besides people from the English-speaking countries, not everyone knows what a Chiropodist is.
Below you will find the areas in which I am specialized :
* Ingrown toenails, (optional anesthetic spray)
* Effective anti-fungal treatment
* Nail management
* Rheumatic footcare
The hygiene in my clinic is on a very high level and my clients know this very well. The instruments are cleaned and sterilized according to European protocol, and after every client the chair and floor are cleaned. I work with medical gloves.
The clinic provides special treatment for:
* Soldiers
* Future Brides
I am looking forward to the future, wondering how I can expand more and include activities and interesting challenges in my field, but my first priority will always give every individual client suitable professional treatment, good advice when necessary. If clients come on a regular base, as do 90 % of my clients, to and look after their feet and take responsibility at home, instead of coming only if there is an emergency, I feel that this way we work together – I with my qualifications, and my clients do their part -and so we can achieve the highest possible level of foot care. I am happy when I see my clients taking care of their feet at home as a daily routine.
My profession is a needed profession, as my work is medical and advanced, and I know I am able to help many people get rid of their foot problems.
Year ago I decided not to be the kind of foot specialist who takes care of other people’s feet but neglects her own. No, quite the opposite. Every day I use an effective product for healthy nails and also a balm with special ingredients that prevent fungus, which I thank God I do not have. Twice a day I apply a foot cream and every day I take a foot bath ( it takes no time at all) and even my small children have accepted the fact that their mother wants them to take a footbath every day with Dead Sea salt . I must say that they like it and by now do it on their own. Sometimes I spoil them with a real foot-massage in the chair.
There was a time when I used nail polish on toes, but then because my nails where closed all the time I saw that I had light-yellow layer on my nails. decided to stop and to choose healthy nails. I applied a liquid to my nails, the problem disappeared and my nails are now very healthy.
I have learned that it is all about discipline. This is a strong part of my character. A long time ago I discovered (and all my clients understand and agree with me) that the most dangerous moment is that very first moment when we are in a process of caring for our feet. That is when you decide either to apply or not to apply cream to your feet (or your anti-fungus product). From that time on you will either stop doing it, or stop to do it, as frequently as you should do. When at this critical moment you decide yes – I will continue – you will see results. In addition, will become a stronger and more effective person also.
This was something personal about how I, Irma van de Visch, Chiropodist and diabetic foot specialist of the Kfar Sava HAPPY FEET CLINIC relate to my personal foot care and hope you will follow my advice!
Years ago I opened my clinic in Kfar Sava clinic after working in Ra'anana for several years after my aliyah to Israel. The HAPPY FEET CLINIC Kfar Saba is situated on a very strategic location close to Highway 531, and Weizmann St., a main street in Kfar Sava, and 5,6 minutes from the Tzommet Ra'anana. The atmosphere in my workroom is pleasant, with air-conditioning or a fan; there is plenty of parking space and you will enjoy a beautiful view from the chair (view of the Hills of Samaria) with soft background music. All this attracts people to come again and again.
Most clients come from the Sharon: Kfar Sava; Petach Tikva; Herzliya, Kfar Yona and Tel Mond and especially from Ra'anana.
Irma speaks Hebrew, English, Dutch, and understands German very well. My clinic is open for everyone!
Please check out all the other interesting topics I will post on this site, relating to the problems I treat. I really recommend not to forget to read all the tips I will give you under the title: “Do it yourself!".
The “before and after’ pictures will probably tell you everything,. Come and experience what others have done before you, people who usually say after the treatment: "Wow, now I really have….?"
Yes: HAPPY FEET !!
I look forward to seeing you soon at my place here in our beautiful and lovely city of Kfar Sava, where I feel so much at home.
Come soon ! Take care…
