What is an insole?
An insole is a medical appliance adapted individually to the patient’s foot. It fits into the shoe and improves the way you stand and walk.
Insoles serve for:
* Spreading weight evenly over the feet
* Supporting the curve of your feet
* Relieving pain
There are several types of insoles:
* Biomechanical insoles
* Accommodating insoles
Insoles are used particularly by people with foot disorders such as:
1) Overloading or overburdening of the fore-foot
2) Varus or valgus deformities
3) Tendon or sinew plate inflammation (Plantar fasciitis)
4) Heel spurs. Bony protuberance on the heel bone (calcaneus) resulting from friction at the point of contact of the ligaments on the sole of the foot and of the heel)
5) Flat foot – pes planus
6) Concave feet or pes excavates ( high foot-curves)
7) Difference of up to 10mm in leg length
8) Excessive callous –formation
9) Hallux valgus (deformation of the toe produced over a period of years)
10) Morton's Neuralgia
12) Lower back pain
13) Hammer and claw toes
The first consultation will be with your orthopedist or podiator. The patient can make one of two choices after the doctor’s prescription: to go to the Kupat Holim health organization or to a private clinic and consult with a chiropodist, podoluge, or a podiatrist.
The material which the insole is made of is extremely important because if the material is poor it will not perform well. It is advisable to choose an insole of good quality despite the fact that it may be more expensive. The effect far better and the insole will last much longer.
Children and people who engage in sports should go for a check-up every 6 months, while other people should schedule an annual check-up. The insole will be checked so see whether it still fits the foot, and whether any adaption should be made.
Everyone needs insoles because there is no such thing as a perfect foot. The body makes compensation but when this is ineffective an insole can provide the necessary support - for children, people who engage in sports like runners and the elderly. For a good advice concerning good quality insoles or surgery of bunions hallux valgus consult your Chiropodist!
Dear Benny, in my opinion, you are an emissary who helps people feel better and physically hold themselves more correctly through your understanding of the human body and habits. At your institute, it is not just measuring and picking up insoles and shoes- you check the feet and legs thoroughly, standing, bending, walking, sitting, with a device and without a device, get the entire data scope, explain and advise. You patiently answer every question and give good tips for a better life. I thank god I met you Benny more than 10 years ago, then still living in Tel Aviv. Today I come to you from the far south of Israel. You are very professional in your field. Thank you for advising me to combine exercise and body strengthening and to listen more to the needs of my body. I wish you to serve many loyal people and that by your faithful mission, people will be healthier, feel better, and be happier. Ofira
In April, we came to 'Benny Balance' to buy my husband a cane for a trip abroad because he suffers from hip problems. We seized the opportunity and also bought a pain relief cream that helped wonders. The day before the trip, my husband discovered that he was about to finish the cream and required an additional amount for the trip itself. I called 'Benny balance' and there was no reply so I called Benny's private number, which is also posted on the site. During the call I understood why-Benny said that today the shop is closed because he is at a conference in Tel Aviv and I explained to him that I could not come the next day because the flight is in the morning. Without thinking twice he got on the motorcycle, left everything and came especially from Tel Aviv to Raanana to provide me with the cream. I have never met or encountered an amazing Service awareness such as Benny's! Warmly recommended!!!! I wish for more people and businesses like yours! And with God's help you will succeed!
My name is Jonathan Cohen and I have suffered with foot problems for more than ten years. I live abroad and had tried all kinds of orthotics and insoles I could find and nothing helped. Some of them even made the situation worse. Then, I read that in Israel they produce more quality professional orthotics and came to Israel and tried for years in several institutes but was not satisfied at all. Not from the quality and not from the price that seemed like a waste of money. All that changed when I read online about 'Benny Balance'. I called him and I immediately recognized that I was dealing with a real professional. I again flew to Israel and purchased his professionally made insoles which are simply superb! He is an expert and I strongly recommend him. I also purchased shoes and an orthopedic car seat that totally reduces my back pain and all at a reasonable price (A thousand NIS less than my previous purchase in a different shop).
My name is Uri Manor, and I would like to point out that after decades of ordering shoes from the Ministry of Defense, I became acquainted with 'Benny Balance' and ordered orthopedic shoes from him. From the start the shoes he prepared for me fit my feet exactly without causing scuffing, warts, pressure or pain- all things I have experienced after visiting other suppliers. I congratulate Benny on his professional and dedicated work.
